380 mL WATER TUB · ResMed HumidAir 11

One character apart.
Two different parts.

The AirSense 10 tub is called HumidAir II. The AirSense 11 tub is called HumidAir 11. They look alike, and they do not seat in each other's machines. We stock both — this page is the 11.

THE REAL PROBLEM

The most commonly mis-ordered part there is.

It is not the customer's fault, it is the naming. ResMed called the AirSense 10 tub HumidAir II and the AirSense 11 tub HumidAir 11two and eleven, one character apart. They are clear plastic boxes that look nearly identical in a photograph. The customer checks the box the old one came in, orders, receives it, it does not seat, and it comes back a week later.

Check the machine, not the box

The rule is simple: the number on the tub follows the number on the machine. AirSense 11 → HumidAir 11. AirSense 10, AirCurve 10 or Lumis → HumidAir II. The device name is printed on the unit, on the front or underneath. If you are unsure, send us a photo and we will work it out.

Which machines it fits

The HumidAir 11 tub was built for one generation of device. This is not a matter of adapting it — it does not seat.

In practice

1
Water
Distilled, at room temperature, with nothing added. Do not add essential oils, fragrances or antiseptics — they are not intended to be inhaled and degrade the plastic. Do not fill above the maximum line.
2
Cleaning
Empty and wipe daily · hand wash weekly in warm water with a mild detergent, rinse thoroughly and dry completely. No bleach, alcohol, solvents or abrasive scourers. Part number 39112 is the Cleanable version: it is also dishwasher-safe, on the top rack, on a cycle up to 55 °C.
3
Replacement
Every 6 months, per ResMed guidance. Replace sooner if you see a crack, permanent clouding, or the seal no longer seals.
4
Transport
Empty it before moving or transporting the device. Water entering the machine causes damage that is not covered by warranty.

Four things worth knowing

Genuine ResMed part
Same seal, same tolerance, same fit. On third-party tubs the sealing is the first thing to go.
🔁
Replace every 6 months
The manufacturer's own guidance. Not a sales rule — it is the point where the seal stops sealing.
🚰
Distilled water, nothing else
Tap water leaves scale on the heater plate. Essential oils and fragrances are not meant to be inhaled and degrade the plastic.
🧳
Empty it before transport
The number one way a CPAP gets destroyed. Two seconds of work, hundreds of euros of difference.

Four things people ask before ordering

🔎
“How do I know which one I have?”
The model is printed on the device itself. If you cannot find it, send a photo and we will tell you.
🔁
“When should I replace it?”
ResMed says every 6 months. The plastic clouds, the seal hardens, and humidity output drops without you noticing.
🌙
“Will it last the whole night?”
380 mL comfortably covers a night at most settings. If it empties fast, the usual cause is a mask leak.
⚠️
“Can I travel with it full?”
No. Empty it before moving the device — water inside the machine is damage the warranty does not cover.

Compliance and safe use

Medical device. The following applies to every unit Traumacare ships.

Manufacturer
ResMed Germany Inc. / ResMed Ltd — see the marking on the packaging
Regulatory status
A genuine ResMed spare part for the HumidAir humidifier system of the AirSense 11 and AirCurve 11. It is a spare part within the meaning of Article 23 of Regulation (EU) 2017/745: it replaces an identical component of the system and does not change the safety or performance of the device. It carries no classification of its own — the CE marking belongs to the device it fits into. Use it only with the devices listed above, and only genuine: a non-genuine part may not seal correctly.
Instructions for use
Supplied in print inside the box, in Greek. Read them before first use and keep them for as long as you own the device.
Batch and traceability
The batch number (LOT) of the unit we ship you is recorded on your invoice. If the manufacturer ever recalls a batch, we know exactly who to contact.
Returns
A sealed product that, for hygiene reasons, cannot be returned once unsealed. Sealed and intact, it is returnable as normal — returns policy.
Reporting a problem
If anything is wrong with the packaging, the labelling or the way the device works, get in touch or write to [email protected]. We log every report and pass it to the manufacturer.

This page is a commercial description of the product. It does not replace the manufacturer’s instructions for use, or the advice of your doctor or nurse.

The tub is one of three CPAP consumables. The other two are the filter and the tube — and they need replacing as well.

Frequently asked questions

I have an AirSense 10. Will this fit?

No. This is the single most commonly mis-ordered part in the category, and the names are to blame. The AirSense 10 tub is called HumidAir II. The AirSense 11 tub is called HumidAir 11. One character apart, two different parts that do not seat in each other's machines. We stock both: check your device, not the box your old tub came in. If you have an AirSense 10, AirCurve 10 or Lumis, you want the HumidAir II.

How often should I replace it?

ResMed recommends replacement every 6 months. That is not a sales rule: over time the clear plastic clouds from scale and heat, the silicone seal hardens and stops sealing, and fine scratches appear where bacteria settle. A clouded tub that no longer seals means less humidity than you think you are getting — and you notice it as a dry throat, not as a warning on the screen.

What water should I use?

Distilled, at room temperature, with nothing added. Tap water leaves mineral scale on the base and the heater plate, which reduces output and shortens the life of the tub. Never add essential oils, fragrances or antiseptics: they are not intended to be inhaled and can degrade the plastic. Do not fill above the marked maximum line.

How do I clean it?

Daily: empty it, wipe it and let it dry out of direct sunlight. Once a week: wash it in warm water with a mild dish detergent, rinse thoroughly and let it dry completely before refitting. Do not use bleach, alcohol, solvents or abrasive scourers. For scale that will not shift, a one-to-ten vinegar and water solution followed by a very thorough rinse usually does it. Part 39112 is the Cleanable version, so the dishwasher is allowed too — top rack, on a cycle up to 55 °C. Hand washing remains the gentlest option for the seal.

Will it last the whole night, or will I wake up to refill it?

Capacity is 380 mL, which comfortably covers a full night at most settings. How long it actually lasts depends on three things: the humidity setting, the room temperature, and whether the mask leaks — a leak empties the tub far faster. If you wake to an empty tub and a dry throat, the first thing to check is the mask fit, not the tub.

What should I watch out for when travelling?

Always empty it before moving or transporting the device. It is the number one way a CPAP gets destroyed: water entering the machine causes damage that is not covered by warranty. The same applies to simply carrying it from room to room with the tub full. When travelling, pack it empty and dry, separately from the device if you can.
