Correct Application of Prontosan Wound Spray
Before using Prontosan Wound Spray, wash off any remaining soap, ointment, oil or other wound cleaner thoroughly
Spray Prontosan Wound Spray thoroughly over the entire wound and the general area. In this way, the risk of infection is reduced and optimal conditions are created for its healing. Then cover the wound with a bandage.
Prontosan Wound Spray also helps in the rapid healing of wounds through effective cleaning and hydration.
Transurethral Catheters:
Wet a sterile gauze pad thoroughly and clean the catheter entry point.
Peg-/Pej-Tubes & Transpubic Catheters:
To clean the entry point, spray an adequate amount of Prontosan Wound Spray and leave on for at least 1 minute. Dry the surrounding skin by dabbing with a sterile gauze and then apply a sterile pad.
Stoma:
Thoroughly wet an adequate number of sterile gauzes and clean the peristomal skin areas and pat dry. Then apply a new pad.
