The principle of this method is to maintain a moist environment in the wound. The moist environment supports cell division and movement within the wound, maintaining an optimal pH that positively affects all phases of the healing process.Unlike other wound healing products, the action of HemaGel® does not depend on the quantity, quality or penetration of the active ingredients.

Application of HemaGel:

HemaGel® is applied directly to the entire surface of the wound. The gel immediately absorbs oxygen free radicals and other secretions or blood from the wound. Thanks to its unique technology, the gel does not stick to the wound and can be removed without pain with a gentle cleaning.HemaGel® forms a thin elastic layer on the surface of the wound that prevents crust formation and protects it from the external environment. It also maintains an optimal Ph in the wound, creating an ideal environment for the healing process.

Continue application as required & type of wound, preferably after 24 hours. After applying the gel, first cover the wound with a sterile non-absorbent gauze & stabilize with leucoplast. Small wounds can be covered with a simple adhesive pad.
