Nonin Neonatal Oximeter Sensor With 25 FLEXIWRAP 8008J

Nonin Flex Sensors combine the convenience and performance of disposable sensors with the economy of reusable sensors. Flex Sensors are made of durable silicone and are held in place by special disposable FlexiWraps® adhesive strips. Ideal sensors for continuous monitoring and sleep studies. Available in sizes suitable for newborns to adults.

Nonin sensors produce a high-intensity spectrum of pure light that eliminates variations in measurements from patient to patient and from sensor to sensor.

Red and infrared light sources (LEDs) are essential in pulse oximeter sensors. Specifically, the red LED measures deoxygenated hemoglobin & the infrared LED measures oxygenated hemoglobin.

Conventional red LEDs usually produce a second spectrum emission, which affects the measurement of oxygenated hemoglobin, as well as the oximeter calibration curve at oximetry levels, resulting in inaccurate measurements at levels below 80%.
