Which size do I need?

Standing in shoes, measure from the floor to 2–3 finger widths below your armpit. If the figure is between 133 and 154 cm, this crutch fits you; otherwise see the other sizes in the range. If in doubt, call us on +30 2311 286 262.

Why should I not lean on my armpit?

Pressure on the armpit is tiring and can be uncomfortable. The top sits 2–3 finger widths below the armpit and your weight goes through your hands on the handle. If you feel pressure, check the setting or ask your physiotherapist.

Underarm crutch or elbow crutch?

An elbow crutch is lighter and more agile for longer or everyday use. Your doctor or physiotherapist will tell you which suits you.

Is it sold singly or as a pair?

It is sold singly; for two, order a quantity of 2. Whether you need one or two is for your doctor or physiotherapist to advise.

Are spare parts available?

Yes: grey tip 0809364 or black 0808677, handle 0808646, underarm pad 0808645. Ask us about availability.

What does the warranty cover?

Two years against manufacturing defects, without affecting your statutory rights. Normal wear, such as the rubber tips, is not covered. Contact us about any problem and we pass it on to MOBIAK.

Description

An aluminium underarm crutch (axillary crutch) in size L, a walking aid that moves weight off your leg and onto your hands when you must put little or no weight on it.

Who it is for

When you must put little or no weight on a leg: for as long as your doctor or physiotherapist has advised.
The first weeks: when you need more support than an elbow crutch gives.

Will it fit? Measure before you order

Crutch height: adjusts 133–154 cm, from the floor to the top of the underarm pad. Standing in the shoes you usually wear, measure from the floor to 2–3 finger widths below your armpit: the figure must fall within this range.
Handle: with your arms relaxed, it should sit at wrist height.
Other sizes: if your figure falls outside the range, pick the size that covers it from the comparison table below.

Not sure? Call us on +30 2311 286 262.

Basic safe-use tips

Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions for use. For example:

Set both crutches to the same height and check that the adjustment has locked before every use.
Do not lean on your armpit; your weight goes through your hands on the handle.
Check the rubber tip and replace it when worn (spare 0809364 / 0808677). Take care on wet or slippery floors.
Do not exceed the maximum user weight of 100 kg.
