Why should I not lean on my armpit?

Pressure on the armpit is tiring and can be uncomfortable. The top sits 2–3 finger widths below the armpit and your weight goes through your hands on the handle. If you feel pressure, check the setting or ask your physiotherapist.

Underarm crutch or elbow crutch?

An elbow crutch is lighter and more agile for longer or everyday use. Your doctor or physiotherapist will tell you which suits you.

Is it sold singly or as a pair?

Will it fit? Measure before you order

Crutch height: adjusts 93–113 cm, from the floor to the top of the underarm pad. Standing in the shoes you usually wear, measure from the floor to 2–3 finger widths below your armpit: the figure must fall within this range.
Handle: with your arms relaxed, it should sit at wrist height.

Basic safe-use tips
