What does the suspension do?

It absorbs part of the vibration from paving, joints and small bumps, so fewer jolts reach the handles. Together with the 8-inch wheels it makes the RUBY more comfortable for walks outside the home.

Does it fold for the car?

Yes. The aluminium frame folds for the car boot or for storage and weighs 8.5 kg without the bag.

Rollator or walking frame?

A walking frame stands firmly on the floor and gives more stability at each step. A rollator rolls and suits someone who walks more steadily; the RUBY also has a seat for resting. If unsure, ask your doctor or physiotherapist.

What does the warranty cover?

Two years against manufacturing defects, without affecting your statutory rights. Normal wear, such as wheels and brake pads, is not covered. Contact us about any problem and we pass it on to MOBIAK.

Basic safe-use tips

Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions for use. For example:

Lock both brakes before you sit down or stand up from the seat.
Set both handles to the same height and check that they have locked in place.
Do not push the rollator with someone seated on it: it is not a wheelchair. On downhill slopes, keep it close and brake from the handles.
Do not exceed the maximum user weight of 136 kg or 5 kg in the bag.
