What warranty does it have?

A 2-year warranty (24 months), according to the MOBIAK page. Your statutory rights always apply. Contact us about any problem and we pass it on to MOBIAK.

Can the user propel it on their own?

It has large 24″ spoked rear wheels, for a user who moves the wheelchair with their own hands; when that is not possible, a companion pushes it from the push handles. Attendant brakes are not included; MOBIAK supplies them on special order (0811398).

Do the footrests and armrests move out of the way for transfers?

Yes. The footrests swing to the side and are removable, and the armrests fold, leaving the side clear for transfers to and from a bed or chair.

Will it fit in my car boot?

The frame folds and the rear wheels come off with Quick Release, making it smaller to load. It weighs 20 kg. MOBIAK does not publish the folded dimensions; if you want to compare it with your boot, ask us on +30 2311 286 262.

Is it for indoor or outdoor use?

The tyres are solid (24″ rear, 8″ front), so they cannot puncture and need no inflating. If you prefer pneumatic rear wheels, MOBIAK sells the pneumatic spoked rear wheel 0811363 separately. Anti-tip wheels are included in the box, according to the MOBIAK page. MOBIAK does not explicitly classify it for indoor or outdoor use; ask us on +30 2311 286 262 about your own use.

Basic safe-use tips

Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions for use. For example:

Apply the rear wheel brakes before the user sits down or stands up, and whenever you stop.
Do not stand on the footrests; swing them aside or lift them before the user stands up.
Do not exceed the maximum user weight of 130 kg.
After fitting the quick-release rear wheels, check that they have locked properly before use.
On ramps, kerbs and slopes move slowly and, where needed, with an attendant: the wheelchair can tip backwards.
