EOPYY-Paperless Prescription: How much easier it makes our lives
Forget everything you knew. With absolutely no paper , enabling paperless prescribing offers you:
- Every time a doctor provides you with a prescription or a referral for tests (on a relevant platform used by healthcare professionals and individuals), you automatically receive all the information via SMS or email.
- The pharmacist, upon seeing this SMS or email and confirming it through his own online platform, will deliver the medications to you.
- Upon completion of each prescription or referral, you will receive SMS and email confirming it.
- Chronic sufferers can now receive prescriptions remotely, without visiting the treating physician , as stated in article 49 of the Legislative Act (Government Gazette 68A/20-03-2020). After registering for Paperless Prescription, the doctor will send you the next prescription via SMS and email without you needing a printed version of it.
- Treating physicians can reissue monthly or recurring prescriptions for stable medication regimens taken by chronically ill patients, which will be immediately executed at pharmacies and EOPYY providers.
- In case you lose the SMS and email of the physical prescription , you will not have any particular problem. Just inform the pharmacist of your AMKA and he will send you a new SMS and email, so that you can receive your medications immediately without any delays.
