DuoDERM® Hydroactive® Gel is a clear, viscous, sterile hydrogel without preservatives. It is designed to maintain a moist wound environment, supporting the body’s natural healing process. It incorporates ConvaTec’s unique hydrocolloid formulation, which differentiates it from other hydrogel products.

The gel is suitable for the management of superficial and deep wounds and is especially recommended as a filler for dry cavity wounds. It is latex-free and easy to apply directly to the wound site.

Step 1: Clean the Wound with Prontosan® Irrigation Solution

Before applying the gel, gently cleanse the wound using:

Step 2: Cover with Askina® Sterile Gauze

After applying the hydrogel, cover the wound with sterile gauze to protect the site and preserve moisture:

• Askina® Gauze Compresses – 8-ply sterile gauze pads, 7.5x7.5cm, ideal for absorption and protection.

The combination of Prontosan® + DuoDERM® Gel + Askina® supports safe and effective wound care through gentle cleansing, hydration, and coverage.

Instructions for Use
