Description
ConvaTec Aquacel Foam, in the non-adhesive version, is a multi-layered foam dressing, primary and secondary, for a wide range of hard-to-manage and acute exuding wounds, according to the manufacturer. It has a waterproof, breathable outer film, a soft foam layer and an Aquacel® Hydrofiber® layer. The box holds 5 dressings of 15x15 cm.

Basic safe-use tips
Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions for use. For example:
- The type and size of dressing, and how often it is changed, are decided by the doctor or nurse who looks after the wound.
- Do not use it if the sterile packaging is open or damaged, or after the expiry date.
- Contraindication in the manufacturer's instructions: not to be used on people who are sensitive to, or have had an allergic reaction to, the dressing or its components.
- According to the manufacturer's instructions, it is not compatible with oxidising agents such as hydrogen peroxide or hypochlorite solutions.
