Description
Natura Moldable Convex stoma baseplate for a two-piece system, with a 45 mm coupling flange and an opening that is mouldable (mould-to-fit), 13-22 mm, no cutting. Natura®+ 45 mm pouches snap onto it, for colostomy, ileostomy or urostomy. Box of 5 pieces.
Who it is for
- Convex: according to the manufacturer, convex suits a retracted stoma or one level with the skin (flush).
- Pouches: takes Natura®+ 45 mm pouches: closed (colostomy), drainable (ileostomy) and urostomy, according to the manufacturer.
Ways to use it
- Two-piece system: the baseplate sticks to the skin around the stoma and the pouch snaps onto its plastic coupling ring; according to the manufacturer, audible clicks tell you it is closed securely and you can change the pouch without removing the baseplate.
- ConvaTec Mouldable Technology™: you shape the opening with your fingers to the stoma, for a stoma of 13-22 mm (size Small); no cutting or measuring, according to the manufacturer.
- Durahesive®: according to the manufacturer, it swells up around the stoma (“turtleneck”) to protect the stoma and the skin around it.
- Hard convex: convex depth 6 mm.
