42 cm long bidirectional catheter with 10 ml balloon made of 100% silicone. It is soft and hypoallergenic causing minimal tissue irritation and potential damage compared to other latex catheters.

The internal lumen of silicone Foley catheters ensures a wider drainage channel compared to latex catheters, so that drainage especially with smaller Charrière size is more effective and therefore less traumatic.

Latex-free, PVC-free.

Radiolucent closed end Nelaton with 2 drainage holes.

Indications for use of URIMED CATH FOLEY NELATON 2 WAYS CH/FR20 Sterile Silicone Catheter

• Acute and chronic urinary retention.
• Maintaining a continuous urine flow for patients with urination difficulties as a result of neurological disorders that cause paralysis or loss of sensation affecting urination.
• Need for accurate measurement of urine output in critically ill patients.
• Perioperative for selected surgical procedures.
• Patients undergoing urological or other surgical intervention on contiguous structures of the urogenital system.
• Expected prolonged duration of the operation.
• Need for intraoperative monitoring of urine output.
• To help heal open sacral or perineal wounds in patients with incontinence.
• The patient requires long-term immobilization.
• To facilitate continence and maintain skin integrity (when conservative treatment methods have been unsuccessful).
• To improve comfort for end-of-life care, if needed.
• Treatment of incurable incontinence.
