External Battery for Astral Ventilator | ResMed

ResMed Astral ventilator external battery, an accessory for the Astral 100 and Astral 150. A lithium-ion external battery for Astral ventilators, for hospital and home use; up to two external batteries can be connected, for up to 16 hours on top of the internal battery, according to the manufacturer.

Ways to use it

1. Up to two batteries: for up to 16 hours on top of the Astral internal battery.
2. Charge indicator: LED lights on the battery and battery information on the Astral screen.
3. Charging: under 6 hours from 0% to over 95%, only with the Astral 90 W AC power supply; it cannot be charged from DC.
4. Air travel: according to the manufacturer it meets RTCA/DO-160 (IATA UN3480).
