Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions for use. For example:

Apply the rear wheel brakes before the user sits down or stands up, and whenever you stop.
Do not stand on the footrest; lift it before the user stands up.
Do not exceed the maximum user weight of 136 kg.
On ramps, kerbs and slopes move slowly and, where needed, with an attendant: the wheelchair can tip backwards.
