EcoPrim 3 Chest Protector | PRIM

The PRIM EcoPrim 3 chest protector is a high-support vest that, according to PRIM, stabilises the chest, allows normal breathing and absorbs the pressure when you cough, with 2 ergonomic handles.

Who it is for

• Manufacturer's indications: according to the manufacturer, for post-operative use after cardiac and thoracic surgery; it can also be used in intensive care units.
• On your doctor's instructions: it is used on your surgeon's or doctor's instructions, who also decide for how long; PRIM recommends using it for at least one month after surgery.

Ways to use it

1. Putting it on: wear it like a vest, with your arms through the straps; the chest strap sits just below the armpits.
2. Handles: set the gap between the 2 handles to 5–10 cm with the side velcro, so you can hold them with one hand, according to PRIM.
3. Length: the straps and the adjustable band can be cut to the length you need; it closes with crocodile-type velcro.
