The MOBIAK L2417 is a forefoot offloading post-op shoe: the rigid, anti-slip sole leaves the metatarsal area free so that it is offloaded.

Who it is for

  • Manufacturer's indications: according to MOBIAK, for post-operative use on the front of the foot and the toes, and for a foot in a cast or with immobilising gauze.
  • On your orthopaedic doctor's advice: use it after surgery or with a cast only as your orthopaedic doctor advises; they will also tell you for how long.
  • Left or right foot: it is ambidextrous and fits either foot.

Both; according to MOBIAK it can be used on either the left or the right foot.

The L2417 offloads the forefoot, for operations on the front of the foot and the toes. The L2415 offloads the heel, for the heel area, according to MOBIAK.

Your orthopaedic doctor decides this, depending on the operation or injury. Follow their instructions and, if anything bothers you, talk to them.
