Basic safe-use tips

Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions for use. For example:

  • Lifting and transfers are carried out by a trained carer, following the instructions for use. Never leave the user unattended while in the sling.
  • Use only a sling that is compatible with the hoist and the right size for the user. Before lifting, check it is correctly fitted and attached to the hooks.
  • Do not exceed the maximum user weight of 180 kg. The lower weight limit always applies, whether it is the hoist's or the sling's.
  • Check the sling before every use: if you see tears or worn seams or straps, do not use it.

For cleaning and washing, follow the manufacturer's instructions for use.
