Description
Absorbent non-adhesive pressure sore pads from Hartmann Medical Company of Germany for exuding ulcers and wounds. They have a superabsorbent core and absorb up to 2 times more fluids than ordinary absorbent pads, contributing to faster healing and protection against the entry of microbes into the wound.
Ideal for the treatment of pressure ulcers that develop in patients who remain immobile, sitting or lying on a not very soft surface for a long time. They appear in areas of the body that are loaded by the weight of the body and where there are bones close to the skin. These are usually the outer sides of the thighs, the tailbone (coccyx), the heels and the ischial tuberosity (the bones of the pelvis on which we sit).
