2. Flat or Convex;

3. Anti-reflux valve — don't neglect it
The anti-reflux valve is perhaps the most underrated feature. It acts as a “one-way valve”: urine that falls from the stoma into the bag cannot return back to the stoma.

- Protects the peristomal skin from constant moisture
