THE PROBLEM
A pouch that did not seat properly tells you when it is already too late.
With an ileostomy the output is liquid and almost continuous: the bag fills several times a day and your mind keeps drifting back to “did it click on properly?”. Most two-piece systems need pressure on the abdomen, good light and steady hands to seat the ring — and a millimetre off means a leak, sore skin around the stoma and anxiety every time you leave the house.

Flexima 3S has a guiding tab that shows the ring exactly where to engage, three orientation positions and a locking mechanism: you hear and feel the click without having to look. The floating flange on the base plate reduces pressure on the abdomen during application. The protected high-performance (HP) filter with its breathable membrane lets gas out without odour and keeps liquid in, while the 7 cm outlet with the integrated soft Roll'up clamp empties cleanly and closes again in one movement — there is no separate clip to lose.

A sealed product that, for hygiene reasons, cannot be returned once unsealed. Sealed and intact, it is returnable as normal —

Frequently asked questions
Which base plate and bag size do I need?
The bag diameter must match the base plate — the 65 mm bag only fits a Flexima 3S 65 mm base plate. The base plate is chosen by stoma diameter (the 65 mm flat plate is cut-to-fit from 15 to 50 mm), and maxi is preferred when output is high or you want fewer emptyings. If in doubt, ask your stoma nurse or call us.
Does it fit Flexima Key or other brands' base plates?
No. Flexima 3S is a guided mechanical coupling with a lock — it only works with Flexima 3S base plates of the same diameter. Flexima Key uses an adhesive coupling and is not compatible.
How often do I empty and change the bag?
A drainable bag is emptied whenever it is about one-third full, so the weight does not pull on the base plate, and replaced according to the instructions for use and the routine agreed with your stoma nurse. The Flexima 3S base plate stays on for several days — the bag is changed independently, without disturbing the skin.
Is it suitable for latex allergy?
The bag is free of latex, PVC and phthalates (DEHP). If you have a known allergy, check the instructions for use for the full material declaration and ask your doctor or nurse.
Do you ship outside Greece?
Yes. We ship across Europe with tracking, charged in EUR. Sealed boxes can be returned under our returns policy; opened packaging cannot be returned for hygiene reasons, so if you are unsure about the size, contact us before ordering.
