Description
The Flexima® Key is a flexible adhesive two-piece system by B. Braun, featuring a guided coupling ring for precise, simple, and secure pouch positioning on the baseplate. The soft material adapts well to different body contours, providing skin-friendly comfort.
The convex wafers are designed specifically for flush or slightly retracted stomas, ensuring optimal fit and tightness.

Indication
To be used with Flexima® Key colostomy, drainable or urostomy pouches. Recommended for flush or slightly retracted stomas.
🩺 Instructions – How to Change the Flexima® Key Baseplate
- Remove old wafer: Gently peel off the baseplate while supporting the skin. Use adhesive remover wipes or spray if needed.
- Clean the area: Wash around the stoma with lukewarm water and mild soap. Pat dry completely.
- Prepare new wafer: Select or cut the appropriate size. Remove the protective liner from the adhesive side.
- Apply wafer: Center around the stoma and press for 30 seconds to ensure full contact without air bubbles.
- Attach pouch: Align and snap the pouch onto the ring until you hear a click. Check the seal.
💡 Tip: Use skin barrier film if skin is sensitive or irritated before applying a new baseplate.
