What Askina® Sorb is and how it helps your wound

Askina® Sorb by B. Braun is a special wound dressing designed to absorb excess fluid from wounds and help create the right conditions for healing. When it comes into contact with wound fluid, it turns into a soft gel, protecting the wound and helping to reduce irritation.

When it is used

Askina® Sorb is used for wounds that produce fluid (moderate to heavy exudate), such as:

How to use it (simple steps)

1. Clean the wound as instructed by a healthcare professional.
2. Place Askina® Sorb directly on the wound.
3. If needed, cut the dressing to fit the size of the wound.
4. Cover with a secondary dressing to keep it in place.
5. Change the dressing when it becomes saturated or as advised.
