Description
The Flexima® Key is a flexible adhesive two-piece system by B. Braun, designed with a guided coupling system for precise, simple, and secure pouch attachment to the wafer.
The soft material of the coupling ring allows the baseplate to adapt comfortably to various body contours, offering stability and patient comfort throughout the day.

🩺 Instructions for Use – How to Change the Flexima® Key Baseplate
- Remove the used baseplate: Gently peel off the wafer while supporting the skin. Use adhesive remover wipes or spray if needed.
- Clean the stoma area: Wash gently with lukewarm water and mild soap. Pat dry thoroughly without rubbing.
- Prepare the new baseplate: Select the correct size or cut the opening as needed. Remove the release liner from the adhesive surface.
- Apply the baseplate: Center the opening around the stoma and press gently for 30 seconds to ensure full contact without wrinkles or air pockets.
- Attach the pouch: Align and snap the pouch onto the wafer until you hear a click. Verify secure connection before use.
💡 Tip: If the skin is sensitive or irritated, apply a protective barrier film before placing the new baseplate.
