Sterican® B|Braun Insulin Needles G 27 x ½", (0.40 x 12mm) White

Sterican® insulin needles by B.Braun are especially designed for the subcutaneous injection of insulin. These needles have a light silicone coating for minimal pain upon puncture.

Product Details

In accordance with ISO 7864 and DIN 13097.
Thin-walled needles.
Made of stainless, chromium-nickel steel.
Smooth surface with light silicone coating.
Minimal pain upon puncture.
Transparent Luer-Lock plastic hub.
Made of Polypropylene (needle hub).
Color-coded hub conforms to ISO 6009.

Handling Instructions

Carefully remove Sterican® from the packaging.
Attach the needle securely to any syringe by twisting the syringe clockwise while holding the needle close to its base.
Remove the protective cap carefully straight from the needle hub to avoid exposure to the sharp needle point.
Perform injection according to your established procedure.
Take care during disposal as sharp needle bevel is not protected.
Dispose the used needle immediately after application into an approved sharps container following the standard procedures of your facility and / or according to applicable regulations for sharps disposal.
